Granite Tower Denver is LEED Gold!
On March 25, 2010 Granite Tower Denver achieved Gold certification under LEED for Existing Buildings; Operations and Maintenance, Version 2. We were awarded 58 credits out of 62 credits applied for by the United States Green Building Council. LEED is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed, built and operates using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
I would like to congratulate the entire Granite Tower team and especially thank Jason Henry, Randy Adrian and Tim Uyeno for all their hard work on successfully completing this incredibly time consuming process!
