Local Real Estate Firms Recognize the Value of Professional Education and Certification (Houston IREM Press Release)
(Houston, Thursday, January 28, 2010) The Houston Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) has announced its annual list of top real estate companies in the Houston area based on the number of IREM-credentialed members they employ. Real estate practitioners have the opportunity to earn one or more of three IREM-conferred credentials including the CERTIFIED PROPERTY MANAGER® (CPM®) designation, the ACCREDITED RESIDENTIAL MANAGER® (ARM®) certification and the ACCREDITED COMMERCIAL MANAGER (ACOM) certification. To do so, they must meet stringent IREM requirements in the areas of professional education, examination and experience. They also must pledge to abide by a rigorous Code of Professional Ethics that is strictly enforced by the organization.
