Scott joined Granite in 2010 and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Houston office focusing on growth initiatives. Additionally he oversight responsibility for Granite’s Denver and Atlanta offices. Before joining Granite, Scott was the managing director for the Paragon Group, subsequently purchased by Insignia/ESG. Scott was with Paragon for 16 years and managed the central region of the United States, which included over 12 million square feet of commercial space and approximately 120 employees. He is past president of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks in Houston, a member of the Urban Land Institute and is active in numerous other real estate organizations. He is the vice chairman of the Houston Christian High School, an elder at the First Presbyterian Church, and on the board of Fort Bend Baptist Academy.
Scott has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
