Coworking Firm Common Desk Headed to Dallas’ West End

Dallas-based shared office firm Common Desk is headed to downtown’s West End historic district for a new location.

Common Desk is teaming up with developer Granite Properties to locate a coworking center in the Factory Six03 building at Market and Munger streets.

The former West End Marketplace building has been converted by Granite Properties into first class office space.

Common Desk will set up shop in more than 18,000 square feet in the century-old building.

“The Factory Six03 building has always been one of my favorite buildings in Dallas, and we are excited to expand into this location with Granite Properties,” Nick Clark, founder and CEO of Common Desk, said in a statement.

Coworking concept opening new location in Dallas’ West End

Dallas-based coworking company Common Desk is bringing a new shared office space to the West End.

The company announced Monday it has partnered with Granite Properties to open a 18,085 square-foot space in the Factory Six03 building, a 115-year-old warehouse along Woodall Rodgers Freeway at 603 Munger Ave. The new, multilevel center is set to open early next year.

“There’s no real estate like Factory Six03,” said Dawson Williams, head of growth and real estate for Common Desk. “It’s one of Dallas’ most unique buildings.”

Dallas’ coworking pioneer is opening a new location in an exciting new building in downtown Dallas’ West End: Common Desk will open in the Factory Six03 building, formerly the West End Marketplace, which is now part of what is being called the Innovation District. Founded in Deep Ellum in 2012, Common Desk currently operates four coworking locations throughout North Texas. Common Desk – Factory Six03 will be the company’s sixth location, and will open in early 2019.
