Dallas – September 18, 2019 – Granite Properties, a commercial real estate investment, development and management company, today announced that Common Desk, a Dallas-based coworking and workday amenities provider, has moved its headquarters to Granite’s Factory Six03 in Dallas’ West End. Its corporate team now works inside Common Desk’s coworking space at Factory Six03, an adaptive reuse of a historic warehouse turned Class A office building.

“We moved our headquarters to Factory Six03 in the West End because we enjoy playing a role in a neighborhood’s revitalization and connecting with the local community. We were able to do this over the years in Deep Ellum and now we’re ready for it in the West End. We were also looking for a centralized location that offered ultimate flexibility for our growing team,” said Nick Clark, Founder and CEO of Common Desk. “As a coworking firm we understand the importance of inspiring work environments that allow people to be creative and highly productive, and that is what Factory Six03 is all about,” he added.

The West End, with a walk score of 90, is close to museums, restaurants, major highways, the DART, Victory Park, Design District, Uptown and Downtown. It features a number of smart city initiatives including public Wi-Fi, interactive digital kiosks, a future smart park called West End Square and smart parking

“The parking is easy to navigate and the location is conveniently located at the intersection of the West End and Victory,” Clark added.

Formerly the iconic West End Marketplace, Factory Six03 is designed to inspire creativity and innovation among its users. Granite kept and restored many of the building’s historic features inside the structure. The 215,000 square foot space leverages a mix of natural materials such as 100-year old wood floors, exposed brick and a two-story brick oven from its days as a biscuit factory. Art pieces and sculptures by Dallas-based artists are installed throughout the building. Open communal spaces are populated with elegant and comfortable furniture on the main and top floors. A large customer lounge in the atrium promotes connection and collaboration with a large skylight allowing for an abundance of natural light.

“We’re thrilled that Common Desk has moved its headquarters to Factory Six03 in the West End,” said Will Hendrickson, Senior Managing Director, Granite Properties. “At Factory Six03, we offer a one-of-a-kind modern workspace in a historic setting with walkable city conveniences,” he added.
