Dallas, February 28, 2019 – Granite Properties, a commercial real estate investment, development and management company, announced today it has completed a capital improvement program of approximately $6 million across 5 Class A office buildings in the Dallas area to improve the experience of its customers. The renovations include high quality customer lounges in four of the five buildings to create opportunities for creative collisions, innovation and collaboration for Fortune 500 companies and startups alike. These communal spaces also enhance relationships between Granite’s customers and help foster community in each building.

Granite completed the following updates:

The Douglas
The Douglas, an office building in Preston Center, was recently updated with a new 4,500 square foot lounge called “The Vault.” The modern country club inspired lounge features a corporate lounge, a training room, communal tables, snacks and beverages, a professional golf simulator and a putting green.

3333 Lee Parkway
Granite created a new 3,500 square foot customer lounge and outdoor patio area at 3333 Lee Parkway, an office building located in Uptown. The new space offers a boardroom, snacks and beverages, pool table, shuffleboard, and a putting green. Granite updated the boardroom and completed renovations to offer new restrooms, showers and lockers for people exercising on the nearby Katy Trail.

Spectrum Center
At Spectrum, an office building in Addison, Granite developed a 3,000 square foot customer lounge featuring a full kitchen, boardroom, seating areas with comfortable furniture and games.

Granite Park One
In Granite Park, an office campus in Plano, Granite doubled the size of the lobby at Granite Park One and added a 3,500 square foot conference center with a pre-function area. The company added dual entrances to the lobby to create connection and easier access to the rest of Granite Park and The Boardwalk.

Granite Park Two
Similar to Granite Park One, Granite doubled the size of the lobby in Granite Park Two and created a walk through lobby with two entrances. In addition, Granite transformed office space into a 3,000 square foot customer lounge offering communal desks, a corporate living room, games, TVs and coffee service.

Granite owns and manages 14 Class A office buildings in D/FW totaling 3.5 million square feet.
