Dallas – September 10, 2019 – Granite Properties, a commercial real estate investment, development and management company, today announced its plans to develop Granite Park Six, a Class AA, 415,000 square foot office building in Granite Park, a 90-acre mixed-use development located in Plano. The 18-story tower will be the tallest building in Granite Park and will front State Highway 121. Designed by BOKA Powell, with contemporary interiors by HKS Architects, Granite Park Six will incorporate a wide range of next-generation amenities to offer a modern workspace in a vibrant office neighborhood with a walkable urban experience.

Granite Park Six will offer customer-centric services and feature multiple activated common areas to inspire interaction, productivity and community. Connected by a dramatic two-story lobby, the building will feature a ground level market café with an elevated food service that includes breakfast, lunch and take home meals; a customer lounge with coffee service, a bar and a golf simulator; a large lecture hall with stadium seating; and three conference rooms. Promoting wellness, a staffed fitness center will host classes; a fifth floor amenity deck will provide access to landscaped outdoor spaces to work, socialize or host events; and, floor to ceiling windows will maximize natural light.

Granite is in the process of completing construction drawings and has selected Balfour Beatty as the general contractor. Construction could start as early as Q1 2020. Granite’s Leasing team of Robert Jimenez, Aarica Mims and Burson Holman lease Granite Park.

Granite Park, a master-planned development by Granite Properties, is located at the southeast corner of State Highway 121 and Dallas North Tollway. The campus offers 2 million square feet of Class-A office buildings, a 299-room Hilton Hotel and 150,000 square feet of retail space. The park also offers The Boardwalk, a collection of restaurants, patios, lounge areas, children’s play area, murals, fire pits and a lake. To enhance walkability, Granite has recently updated the pedestrian crosswalks, created exercise trails and stations and is also adding a multi-purpose pavilion.
