Dallas, TX – December 19, 2018 – Granite Properties, a commercial real estate investment, development and management company, announced today it has concluded Silver Bells, a portfolio-wide volunteering program, which engaged Granite customers from Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Denver and Southern California to pack a record 3,700 holiday care packages. Granite delivered the personal care boxes to 30 local senior assisted living centers.

Silver Bells is a part of TogetherWeConnect, a unique program that fosters connection and community among Granite’s customers through building and portfolio-wide philanthropic and professional development events.

“At Granite, we promote relationships between our customers and the community through programs like TogetherWeConnect and Silver Bells. It’s just one of the many ways we create work environments that enable people to merge purpose, passion and productivity while connecting with each other,” said Will Hendrickson, Managing Director, Granite Properties.

This was the second annual Silver Bells event. In December 2017, our customers packed 2,500 packages to benefit 25 senior assisted living facilities. This past year, TogetherWeConnect also organized its second Strike Out Hunger event where Granite’s customers packed 10,000 snack boxes to benefit local Boys & Girls Clubs as well as a multi-city “Lunch & Learn” program focused on wellness.

“Offering portfolio and building-wide amenities that connect customers to the community sets Granite apart from other office building owners,” said Debby Hanson, Director of TogetherWeConnect. “Fostering community and volunteering is at the core of Granite’s culture,” she added.
